Overview

　　The State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development (LGOP) attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation in the field of poverty reduction and, by inviting in and going global, has actively innovated the relevant mechanisms, broadened the channels and conducted a wide range of cooperation in the implementation of poverty-relief projects. LGOP has actively shown the international community China’s achievements and experience in poverty alleviation and development, actively expanded the channels for foreign exchange and strengthened the cooperation and exchanges with foreign governments, international agencies and non-governmental organizations. Learning from the effective practices of the international community in reducing poverty and eliminating the gap between rich and poor, it strives to further improve the level of our poverty alleviation and development work and constantly promote the knowledge and experience sharing between developing countries in the field of social development and poverty reduction to jointly promote the development of global poverty reduction.
